RealNetworks brings COLLAPSE! to practically every platform

Collapse is a popular color-matching puzzle game that's been around for a couple of years, but now it's getting a fresh relaunch across mobile, desktop and web platforms, and a new name in all caps: COLLAPSE! RealNetworks is taking COLLAPSE! viral by making it available on PC, Mac, Facebook, BlackBerry, iPhone, and Android. COLLAPSE! is actually the first big game to come out of RealNetworks' new cross-platform game engine, Emerge, so we can look forward to more games like it in the future.

The Mac and PC versions feature 180 levels and the ability to customize an avatar, while the mobile versions have 65 levels. The different platforms interact with one another, though: you can win codes on the mobile version of the game that'll work in the desktop version. You can also play in tournaments with your friends on Facebook. If being on every platform means that COLLAPSE! turns into a success on every platform, this could become an important new model for casual games.
