Formee is a ready-made framework for quickly developing and deploying forms. That's a fancy description of what is, essentially, a couple of nice CSS files and a demo HTML file.
Formee contains a single piece of JavaScript -- which is a way to plug the software itself via Twitter -- and that's all.
I don't know ... that fancy graphic had me expecting something much cooler. I was waiting for some MooTools/jQuery magic; I wanted to see some stuff sliding around, popping out, and dynamically highlighting. Alas, all I got was a couple of CSS files and some images.
Don't get me wrong, Formee can probably save you some work. The CSS seems solid enough and is separated into a "structure" and a "style" file, so you can easily give it the look and feel you want for your own site.
The main advantage I see here is that the "structure" file can take care of the alignment and positioning of the various form elements; that part can be used almost without any modification. You will, however, have to change the "style" file to suit your own site, or at least provide it with graphics that blend well with the style you use.
Once more, I must say I would have been far more excited about this had it been some neat MooTools wrapper. But hey, it's free, and it's nicely presented. Gotta love that chef!
