Search Flickr without leaving your current website with this light-weight Chrome extension

Flickr Image Search does exactly what you might think -- mostly because it's a very early beta version and doesn't actually do anything other than search Flickr. Install the Chrome extension, click the Flickr icon, search... and voilà! Quick and easy thumbnails. Click a thumbnail and the Flickr page opens in a new tab; neat!

It's certainly not without issues -- for some reason it stretches images, rather than just cropping them into squares; and I'd love some tooltips when I hover over each photo -- but it works... and that's the important thing!

The developer mentions that he has a full stock image search extension in the pipe -- and presumably, along with that, the ability to refine your searches. If there was a 'Creative Commons' flag it would immediately become every blogger's best friend...
