Pathillogical is a one-way-track mind bender - Time Waster

Pathillogical is an existing Flash game that recently got an upgrade; it added a new level pack that contains the best user-created levels.

In the game, you control an arrow that can go in a single direction until it hits something. You set it to go up, down, left, or right; if it doesn't hit anything on the way, it falls off the board and you lose.

If it does hit something, it can do one of several things. If it's an angle block, the arrow will make a 90-degree turn and keep going in that new direction until it hits something else or falls off the board. If it's a square block, the arrow will stop. The blocks won't always stay there, though; some blocks dissolve, and you can use them only once per level.

Your goal is, of course, to collect stuff and then hit the "exit" block. Another thing which makes the game tricky is that some blocks blink on and off of the board; one moment the block is there, and the next moment it's gone. That means you have to hit it at the exact right moment for your arrow to stop.

The user-created level pack makes this one of the hardest games I've played in a while, but the graphics are great. If you find the new levels too frustrating, you may want to try the original version of the game, which is much easier.
