Air Video: stream your video collection to your iPhone, even over 3G

If you've ever wanted to watch your video library on your iPhone or iPod Touch, but you can't be bothered to convert files or transfer them to your device, your lazy butt is in luck. A new app called Air Video lets you stream video from your computer to your iPhone -- no fussing with iTunes required! It even works over 3G, after a little bit of extra configuration.

Sure, there's a little bit of setup: you'll need to configure both the desktop Air Video Server app (for either Mac or Windows) and the iPhone app, but once that's done, it's easy streaming city for you, my friend. It doesn't even matter whether your video is in an iPhone-compatible format, thanks to Air Video's Live Conversion feature. All this glorious streaming will cost you $2.99 in the app store (or you can test out a free version that only shows a random portion of your video collection).
