Opera 10.5 for Mac gets a final release candidate

It's just a hair under two months since Opera 10.5 for Mac entered beta, and we've already got a release candidate!

As I mentioned in a previous post, 10.5 is a significant release because it's now a native Cocoa app, which means a nice performance boost for Mac users. It also includes Mac perks like Growl notification support and multitouch gestures.

So, what's changed since the Beta? Well, PowerPC support is back in, so folks on older Macs can use Opera. Scrolling has been reworked to be a lot smoother, domain name lookup has been sped up under 10.6 Snow Leopard, and the crash bugs and widget problems in the beta have been ironed out.

Because this is a release candidate and considered stable, it'll also save your preferences if you're upgrading from an older version of Opera.
