in Straw Hat Samurai 2 you rush horizontally into oncoming foes (other samurai, I think, or Vietcong, I don't know) and repeatedly slice them up into small pieces. The primary game mechanic is something I've never seen before though: mouse gestures! To attack, you paint a 'slash' over the enemy. An upwards slash sends them flying, while a downwards slash on a fallen enemy performs a coup de grace.
There's even the requisite 'bullet time' mode where you can slash up everyone on the screen without fear of reprisal. Don't worry if it all sounds a little complicated: there's a great tutorial that leads you through the first few minutes of the game.
Go and slash 'em up!
