1DayLater - simple as it gets time, mileage and expense tracker

If you're in the market for a simple, easy project/time tracker tool to help you manage expense reports and invoicing, 1DayLater is a simple online tool that does the basics. Currently in beta, this U.K. based company is setting its sights on capturing market share in an arguably crowded segment (Freshbooks, Simply Invoices, Cashboard, and many, many more) by keeping functionality very, very simple.

1DayLater lets you track your mileage, time, and expenses of your various projects or clients. With continued use, your data inputs can be assimilated into graphs so you can visualize where all your time, money and efforts are really going.

The app is free for now and there are plans to roll out a premium version with more features later this month, however, a free, basic plan will always be available.

Future functionality will include invoicing, mileage expense reports, mobile and desktop apps. You can also export your data into Office Open XML files. These spreadsheets can be opened in Microsoft Office, OpenOffice.org, iWork, etc.

So far, the app is what it is - a clean, dead simple user interface to track expenses, mileage and time. How it will fare in the market against established, robust competition, time will only tell.
