Aequilibrium does not break new ground in the realm of Flash physics games. You won't find any new, paradigm-shifting, experimental gameplay concepts here. What you will find, however, is a really fun and frustrating way to burn a lot more time than you originally intended to dedicate for reviewing this game, ... or maybe that's just me.
The premise is simple. You click on a red block, and it disappears. If you click the wrong one, the whole structure comes tumbling down. If you make all the right choices and click the correct blocks in just the perfect moment, you may be able to make them all disappear without having the whole level collapse in front of your eyes.
There are a couple of things that make this game particularly enjoyable: the graphics are very bare-bones (so it's fast), you can easily mute the music (not all games are this considerate, I'm afraid), and when you fail, the level starts again instantly. There's no waiting, no fuss, and no "disappointing" sound effects. You don't even have to click "try again" or anything like that; this quality alone makes it addictive.
I gave up on level 7, but some of you guys can probably finish the entire game easily. Good luck!
